In 1985 three young men from Thun needed an idea to get them back on their feet. And that idea was this: Swiss Racing for Fun.

With the then revolutionary Suzuki GSX-R 750 coming directly off the racetrack, it was the “Superbike” that was now available to everyone and demanded «artgerechter Haltung». Therefore the people sought the freedom and adrenaline that they no longer got on the roads of the Berner Oberland, but on the faster circuits of Europe. Since there were no events that would satisfy the need for speed that people were searching for, the crew of the Moto-Center Thun launched their first trip to Monza. And that is how "Swiss Racing for Fun" by Moto-Center Thun was created. Since then, 30 years have past and many European racetracks have been raced. The motto "racetrack training for everyone" shows that everyone is welcome, hobby racers and those who drive for fun alike. Because of this, it is not surprising that safety, professionalism, and quality are the three cornerstones of “Swiss Racing for Fun”.

Because you can now train every weekend on any racetrack in Europe, the Directing Managers Bruno and Role offer the people of Thun fine training in Jerez and Dijon. During up to 8 days per event, one can really put some wear on those tires! The name "Swiss Racing for Fun" says it all: The most important thing is the fun associated with the greatest safety.
